Product Description

Aluminum hydroxide powder is the most widely used inorganic flame retardant additive. Not only is it flame retardant, it also prevents smoking, dripping and toxic gases.

Application in: thermosetting plastics, thermoplastics, synthetic rubber, coatings, building materials and other industries.

In addition to behaving as a fire retardant, it is very effective as a smoke suppressant in a wide range of polymers, most especially in polyesters, acrylics, ethylene vinyl acetate, epoxies, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and rubber.
