Product Description

Melamine cyanurate is a halogen-free flame retardant which can achieve UL 94 V-0 for polyamide, especially for polyamide6 and polyamide66 (nylon6 and nylon66). Addition of MCA gives PA6(PA66) good mechanical and electrical properties. Being halogen free also results in significant advantages in terms of fire safety, i.e. lower smoke density, lower smoke-toxicity and less corrosion.

The advantage of MCA:
·Low smoke,corrosiveness and toxicity
·sublimation temperature can reach 440℃, good thermal stability
·Add a small amount of MCA can get great flame retardancy. More economical than halogen or antimony containing flame retardants.
